The fugitive is accused of stabbing 27-year-old mum Kulsuma Akter in the neck four times as she pushed her baby son in a pram.

A worker at a nearby shop said Masum, from Oldham near Manchester, is the baby boy’s father.

Last night The Sun revealed that Masum was facing trial for threatening to kill Ms Akter.

Masum is accused of making the threats against Ms Akter a day after allegedly attacking her.

On November 27 Masum pleaded not guilty to assault by beating and making threats to kill Ms Akter.

He was given bail ahead of his trial later this year and was barred from having any contact with Ms Akter.

But on Saturday Masum allegedly travelled from Oldham to Bradford – where Ms Akter was living in a women’s refuge.

Masum allegedly spoke to Ms Akter in the busy street for around five minutes as she pushed her son in a pram.

He then allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the mum to death in broad daylight before fleeing the scene.

Yesterday cops released new CCTV of Masum calmly strolling away from the city centre crime scene with his hood up.

The last confirmed sighting of Masum was on 3.30pm Saturday – just ten minutes after the knifing.

Masum was caught on CCTV getting on a bus at Market Street before getting off at 3.42pm on Killinghall Road.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested for assisting an offender after a string of police raids.

Assistant Chief Constable Damien Miller said: “I would encourage Masum to contact us and hand himself in immediately.

“At this stage, we have done an all ports warning, and I believe he is still in the country.

“Masum is obviously a suspect, we do have a victim who has sadly died.

“He is a risk so I would ask everyone to contact us and not approach him.

“We have officers conducting house-to-house inquiries and are doing sweeps of CCTV footage from the last areas he was seen in.

“We are doing everything in our power to locate him.”

Armed cops hunting Masum have raided three properties in Burnley, Chester and Oldham.

Masum is an aspiring influencer who regularly posts videos on his YouTube and TikTok accounts.

One recent clip shows Masum holding up Bangladeshi-made clothes in a local Primark branch.

Other videos show Masum packing his bags for a holiday to Barcelona and walking through a housing estate in the snow.

Samin’s UK Visas Support Centre helped Masum procure an EU Schengen visa for the Spanish getaway in January.

The firm’s owner Samin Ahmed told The Sun: “I was actually shocked when I heard the news about the murder.

“Masum is a familiar face in Manchester. He came here on a student visa.

“I have had no communication with him for two months. I hope they find him.”

On March 28 Masum shared a clip of Bollywood film Laapataa Ladies on his Facebook account.

In the clip, a character says: “He was returning home with his wife last night and lost her on the way.”

Masum, from Oldham near Manchester, captioned the clip with four “crying with laughter” emojis.
