Chicago violence: 2 men found fatally shot in Albany Park

Two men were found fatally shot Friday night in Albany Park on the Northwest Side.

About 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 4700 block of North Troy Street and found the men shot in the east alley, according to Chicago police.

One man, 20, and the other, 21, were both dead at the scene with head wounds, police said.

The 20-year-old man was identified as Victor Rodriguez and the 21-year-old man was identified as Jaime Serrano by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Rodriguez was described as a “good brother [who] took care of us plenty of times, and he was always there when we needed something. He always put his family before anything,” according to a GoFundMe campaign organized by his family.

A witness told police a black sedan fled the scene.

No one was in custody.
