Colorado Springs police sergeant arrested on suspicion of victim intimidation, violating protection order

A Colorado Springs Police Department sergeant was arrested on suspicion of intimidating a victim while he was being investigated for claims of inappropriate sexual contact with a minor.

Colorado Springs police fatally shoot suicidal man

Glenn Eric Thomas was arrested Thursday, police officials said in a news release. He is also accused of violating a protection order barring him from contacting a former spouse.

Colorado Springs police learned of the allegations against Thomas in Woodland Park on Oct. 16. He has worked at the department for 31 years, most recently in the DUI unit, and is now on paid administrative leave.

No charges have been filed in the Woodland Park investigation, Colorado Springs police said Thursday.
