After a 2-hour, 20-minute delay, the Cubs-Nationals game will start at 3:40 p.m.
The Cubs (79-76) won two of the first three games and are concluding their seven-game series against Washington (69-86). Shota Imanaga is projected to start for the Cubs. Imanaga (14-3, 3.03 ERA) has recorded wins in each of his last five starts. Jake Irvin (10-12, 4.07 ERA) is on the bump for the Nationals.
The Cubs have one more homestand to close out the 2024 season starting Friday against the Cincinnati Reds.
