The footage, which also spread to the US and Australia through X, Facebook and YouTube, was said to show a girl of 14 attacking an autistic boy aged eight.

Other pictures emerged later supposedly of him bloodied and bruised as he got hospital care.

Internet “sleuths” then tried to track her down, but posted the wrong home address and school — leading to a barrage of abusive calls to people with no involvement.

And her dad says the armed police response was triggered when threats came to her actual address in the West Midlands.

The Sun can also reveal the girl has just turned 11 and is at primary school and the boy is ten.

The incident took place in a playground — with police insisting “nobody was seriously injured”.

The dad said: “She did hit the boy because he pulled her hair, but that’s all that happened.

“By Saturday, they were mates again and playing together. We don’t know why it went viral.

“We had armed response police banging on the door at 4.30am and they said they were going to keep patrols at the address.”

He said his daughter has been left terrified and claims TikTok has refused to remove the clip.

Both TikTok and YouTube said they had removed footage and comments that violated guidelines.
