Deliveroo is down
Deliveroo users have been left to go hungry this evening, as the food delivery app is reporting thousands of outages throughout the UK and abroad.
Reports of the outages started to circulate at around 7pm this evening and quickly began to gain momentum, with Down Detector reporting around 5,000 struggling to access the app.
According to Down Detector, over 80% of users are having trouble accessing the app, with the majority of cases taking place in London, Manchester and Bristol.
Many of those affected have reported the app refusing to properly process payments, while others have reported restaurants being improperly marked as being closed.
Twitter user Graeme Strachan remarked: ‘Deliveroo is down. I was halfway through an order. How am I supposed to watch Slow Horses without a curry?’
Another user named Somaya said: ‘Why is @Deliveroo making me starve?
‘Cancelled my order twice, bare in mind I’ve been trying to order since 6pm and now they’ve just shut down the app’.
Deliveroo have been contacted for comment.
