Denver police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was injured Saturday morning in a crash on an Interstate 25 exit ramp in the city’s Hampden neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded to the hit-and-run on the southbound I-25 exit ramp to East Hampden Avenue at about 5:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Denver Police Department.
The suspect left the scene of the crash without stopping, helping the injured pedestrian or calling the police, according to the agency.
No description of the suspect vehicle was available Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the crash, driver or suspect vehicle is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
