A man was hospitalized after a Des Plaines police officer shot him during a response to a domestic dispute, according to Des Plaines police.
Officers were responding to a “domestic disturbance” in the 2000 block of Touhy Avenue at 2:32 p.m. when the officer shot the man, who was a resident of the home, police said. No other details about the shooting were released.
The man was taken to a local hospital, according to police. His condition is unknown. The Des Plaines Major Case Assistance Team is investigating the incident.
