It only adds to this girl’s character and does not detract from her charm. Lola has blossomed on hikes with our field-trip volunteers, and would thrive in a home where she can wiggle and run to her heart’s desire. Come visit her at our Dublin adoption center! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Ten-year-old George arrived at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter terribly neglected, skin and bones, with much of his hair missing. He was taken in by a foster who has put the wag back in his little tail and given him a new lease on life. George loves being on laps or being wrapped up in loving arms, is mostly housebroken, gets along well with other dogs and enjoys sleeping in the sunshine and walking — especially on grass. To meet this pet at FAAS, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

I’m Snuffy, a 3-month-old boy cat and I love everybody. I can play with cats, dogs, kids and toys — lots of toys. I have some sisters and a brother too in case your interested. We are all sweet and like to cuddle with our foster. Living in a house is so much better than under a bush. For more information about Snuffy or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
