Police closed the northbound lanes of Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood Friday morning while investigating a fatal crash.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the boulevard’s intersection with West Eastman Place, Lakewood police said in a social media message at 7:47 a.m. The intersection is just north of U.S. 285.
Police said there was not estimated time when the lanes would reopen and advised drivers to avoid the area.
