The man robbed a Huntington Bank branch located at 1400 West Fullerton Ave. at 9:32 a.m. and a Fifth Third Bank located at 5918 North Broadway about 12:06 p.m. In both robberies, he demanded money and displayed a handgun before fleeing on foot.
The robber is described as a man in a dark hooded sweatshirt, with dark facial covering, dark pants, dark shoes with white soles and carrying a red drawstring backpack, officials said.
