Storms passing through the Chicago area on Thursday afternoon caused flooding on the interstate near O’Hare Airport.
Inbound I-190 was reduced to one lane near the Mannheim exit, according to a social media post from O’Hare’s X account.
Officials advised travelers to allow extra time to commute or consider public transit. The Illinois Department of Transportation was on scene to address the issue.
