Git along little dogies, because it’s time to put on your straw hat, boots and mosey on over to the two-day annual Cowboy Festival in Newhall, which offers a weekend dedicated to the Old West.
The festival runs Saturday, April 18 and Sunday April 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission is free, and include live performances on three stages, Living History performers demonstrating cowboy life and frontier traditions, cowboy poetry and storytelling, a special area with vendors selling Western stuff and more.
Parking and shuttles are also free. Note that there are ticketed experiences that do cost extra, including the VIP area, getting married at the festival and entering the line dance competition.
