A nine-year-old girl has died in a car crash in Birmingham with two men arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
Emergency services were called to Icknield Street in Hockley last night following a two-car collision.
A nine-year-old girl who was a passenger in one of the cars was taken to hospital where she later died.
A woman and two other children from the same car were also taken to hospital.
Two men aged 22 and 23 from the second car, a BMW, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drugs.

West Midlands Police said: ‘We were called to Icknield Street at around 11pm last night (Thursday) following a two-car collision.
‘A nine-year-old girl – a passenger in one of the cars – was taken to hospital with serious injuries but sadly died a short while later. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this devastating time.
‘A woman and two other children from the same car were also taken to hospital to be assessed for injuries.
‘Two men aged 22 and 23 from the second car, a BMW, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drugs.’
