The Will County sheriff’s office issued a shelter in place order for a Homer Glen neighborhood because of an ongoing ‘barricaded’ situation.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 13200 block of Maverick Trail after 4 p.m. to help other law enforcement officers with a “barricaded subject,” the office said on social media. Residents on the street were ordered to shelter in place and Maverick Trail was closed at Woodland and Parker.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
