No one was injured after a home exploded in Calumet City Wednesday night, according to a city official.
Firefighters responded to a call of a small frame house explosion around 6:15 p.m. near 155th Street and Price Avenue, city spokesman Sean Howard told the Sun-Times.
First responders found a man who was unharmed and said he had been working outside of the unoccupied house when it exploded, Howard said.
The explosion may have been caused by a gas leak, he said.
