The hunt is on for a so-called ‘phantom pooper’ who has been leaving rather unpleasant surprises in public spaces.
Locals in the small village of Camber in Sussex have caught the mystery man on CCTV allegedly defecating on the street.
The most recent footage, recorded on Sunday, show a man stood by a garage on what appears to be a residential street – and he’s even got a roll of toilet paper in one hand.
The man, who is greying and wearing glasses, then pulls down his jeans and squats down to defecate in plain sight of anyone who might be unlucky enough to walk by.
He then gets up and walks away from the scene as if nothing happened.
It’s not known how many times this has happened before – but local news site Sussex News seems to think the ‘phantom pooper’ has struck more than once.

They said: ‘The “Phantom Pooper” strikes again in Camber!
‘This stealthy stinker leaves his mark—and even comes prepared with his own toilet roll!
‘This mysterious man keeps leaving unwanted deposits in a person’s residential driveway.’
The incident has caused concern and disgust.
It’s not yet known if the person has been reported to the police or identified.
