In-N-Out Burger opens new drive-thru in Monrovia on Thursday, Sept. 25
Customers filled the dining room of In-N-Out Burger’s new restaurant in Monrovia on opening day, Thursday, Sept. 25.
It occupies a 1.3-acre lot at 560 W. Huntington Drive, the site of a demolished Black Angus restaurant in the Huntington Oaks Center.
A pathway of cones snaked through the shopping center’s parking lot with parking attendants surrounding the building to guide motorists into the drive-thru.

Owner and president Lynsi Snyder showed up for the event with a team of “all stars,” company veterans who were helping out new hires, who start at $22 an hour.
The store opened at 9 a.m., 90 minutes early, for the first diners.
In-N-Out doesn’t do grand opening ceremonies, but it gave out a coveted burger coin, a collectible that is used to reward employees, and a T-shirt to the first diner.
The building is approximately 3,879-square feet, according to plans approved by the city in 2022, with indoor seating for 84 customers and patio seating for another 38 people.
Design features include metal awnings decorated with palm trees and two crossed palms bordering the drive-thru lane, a tradition started by founder Harry Snyder, Lynsi’ Snyder’s grandfather.
Normal business hours are 10:30 a.m.-1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
This is restaurant No. 425 in the chain.
In-N-Out has one other California location, in Simi Valley, listed on the “opening soon” page of its website. But the chain is on the verge of a major expansion into Tennessee, with the first restaurants expected to open this year.
