A 15-year-old Indigenous girl is missing and was last seen Monday afternoon, according to an alert from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Devaughn Alonzo was at Durango High School at 2390 Main Avenue at 3 p.m., wearing a black hoodie, gray shirt, black sweatpants, and black and white Converse sneakers, and she was carrying a blue backpack. She’s 5’6, weighs about 125 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said she could be attempting to get to Kirtland, New Mexico.
Anyone who may have seen her or know her whereabouts is asking to call 911 or the Durango Police Department, 970-764-7032.
