Interstate 70 through Aurora closed Thursday, Friday nights for construction

Interstate 70 will be closed in both directions between Tower Road and East Colfax Avenue in Aurora on Thursday and Friday nights so construction crews can set a pedestrian bridge.

The highway will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday and 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, according to Aurora city officials.

A detour route will be marked on East Colfax Avenue between Tower and Gun Club roads.
