KITH X BMW Team Up Again For New Style Collection & 2 Classic Custom Cars

NYC design house KITH is shifting into high gear yet again with its fourth BMW partnership, taking the covetable KITH lifestyle to another level with new gear and a duo of custom Beemers.

Led by KITH visionary Ronnie Fieg, the fourth edition of the lauded KITH for BMW partnership ties together each of its previous chapters across apparel, accessories and two one-of-one bespoke automobile creations with custom versions of the 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi and the 1987 BMW M6 E24.

The 1972 model is defined by its custom caramel leather interior and KITH interior embossing throughout, while the model sprang from a complete frame-off restoration. The 1987 edition marks another generation of the BMW grand tourer and gets a similar paint job, plus similarly impressive specs under the hood.

Both are vibrant and eye-catching in their use of color, leaning on what KITH calls the “enthusiast-heralded Inka Orange” shade. The same shade (among other BMW-approved colorways) pops up across a collection spanning moto-inspired outerwear, graphic tees, retro quarter-zips, knitwear and track pants. Across the KITH for BMW apparel and accessory offerings, signature “Beemer” colors like Cinnabar Red and Techno Violet dot the roster of streetwear-meets-automotive design staples.

As the face of the brand and KITH’s creative director, Fieg is no stranger to the style-savvy charms and ingenuity of BMW, working with the German automaker on a bespoke 2024 version of the BMW 1981 M1 E26. Be it putting his own spin on New Balance sneakers to helping design lavish cigarette speedboats, the taste-making designer certainly has an eye for the finer things in life.

At the core of both the bespoke wheels and the fashion collection itself is an elusive yet much-loved shade, KITH sagely notes. “Although (Inka Orange) has gradually disappeared over time, it represents an integral chapter in BMW’s history and has earned a revered status among collectors around the world,” the design house said.

The iconic blue-and-white BMW circle logo joins forces with the KITH wordmark across the collection, while KITH leather goods, graphic tees and knitwear join branded shirting for the auto-meets-fashion enthusiast. A leather moto jacket made in partnership with Avirex adds high-octane style to the streetwear assortment.

The KITH for BMW lifestyle hits the road by blending form and function via a co-branded overnight bag, a garment duffle bag and a range of cardholders, watch holders and car fresheners, plus a driver’s cap and collaborative bandanas. While the two custom Ronnie Fieg-designed BMW models might prove difficult to come by (try: impossible), the rest of the highway-approved KITH for BMW lineup can be found at KITH stores, online at KITH and via the KITH App starting August 17th at 11 a.m. Eastern.
