A bunch of old guys once suggested “Taxation without representation is tyranny”‘ but what did they know?
Does anybody in this day and age actually expect to be represented?
For instance, Massachusetts, where some of those old guys were from, doesn’t have one Republican representative.
So, what’s the big deal?
California and Texas do have significent population concentrations.
But then it’s not about us. The problem is our elected representatives consider themselves eminently more qualified to make decisions than how the Constitution intended our democracy to work.
If you believe Governors Abbott and Newsom are looking out for our best interest, I’ve got a bridge you might be interested in.
