Liberal Democrat MP Cameron Thomas has been suspended from the party pending the outcome of a police investigation.
A party spokesperson says: ‘Cameron Thomas MP has had the party whip suspended pending the outcome of a police investigation.
‘We are unable to comment further while the police investigation is ongoing.’
The MP forTewkesbury started his career in politics having called time on a 23- year Royal Air Force career which saw him deployed to Iraq, the Falklands and Oman.
