Train travelers can now ride the rails to a new brewery located in a stunning art-deco space inside Los Angeles’ historic Union Station.
Founded in 2022 in Orange County, with another location in Long Beach, Everywhere brewery held its grand opening at Union Station’s iconic Fred Harvey room, a cavernous 1930s space, in late May.
The award-winning brewery, which has a focus on making accessible beers that include lagers, hop-forward IPAs and seltzers, will be brewing on site as well.
“We’re incredibly excited. It’s a historical building and we’re excited to become part of LA’s history,” said Daniel Muñoz, who along with business partners Jeremy Grinkey, Stefan Weber and Keith Pumilia founded Everywhere.
While they have other locations, the Union Station spot could become their most iconic since it sits inside a 1930’s Art deco and Spanish Colonial style room. It’s decked out in colorful tile floors, which were designed to resemble a Navajo rug, intricate tile ceilings, a grand bar, plush lounge seating and an upstairs mezzanine.

According to the Los Angeles Conservancy, the room was once part of the Fred Harvey restaurants, a famous chain of eateries that served railroad depots. And the restaurants featured the Harvey Girls, which were young women who came west to work in the restaurants and “civilized rowdy towns.” The women were depicted in the 1946 film “The Harvey Girls” starring Judy Garland, according to the Conservancy.
And for Muñoz, that marks a very personal connection to the space.
“My grandmother was a Harvey Girl, so I’ve heard about Fred Harvey since I was a kid. She was in a documentary about the Harvey Girls like 20 years ago so this feels really special,” he said.
As far as beers go, since it’s located in a transit hub with all sorts of people coming and going, Muñoz thinks any traveler will find something they like.
“We describe ourselves as a modern brewery. We make everything you can possibly imagine but we focus on highly consumable beers, easy to drink beers versus aggressively in your face beer,” Muñoz said. “One of our most popular product lines are our Aguas Frescas seltzers. We make a jamaica lemonade, a sandia (watermelon),” he added.
Everywhere will also open a restaurant with elevated pub food.
