A male was hospitalized after a shooting in Washington Park on Sunday afternoon, Chicago police said.
The male, whose age wasn’t known, was in the 6200 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive about 5:40 p.m. when a vehicle approached and someone inside fired shots, police said. He was shot in the left shoulder and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
