A man has been charged in a Lansing shooting in a warehouse that began a manhunt and shelter in place order earlier this month, according to Lansing police.
Devon Johnson — a 31-year-old former employee of Nippon Paint Automotive Americas in the 2700 block of 170th Street, where the shooting happened June 5 — faces a first-degree murder charge, police said.
Johnson is accused of fatally shooting Andrew Coleman, a 48-year-old Highland, Indiana resident, inside an office in the building, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Johnson is due in court in Markham Thursday.
