A 45-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting in Garfield Park early Saturday, Chicago police said.
The man had been outside along the 3900 block of West Madison Street at about 7:07 a.m. when he was shot, according to police.
The wounded man took himself to Mount Sinai, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
No other injuries were reported. Police said area detectives are investigating.
