Man critically injured in River North stabbing

An argument between two men turned violent and left a 32-year-old man with multiple puncture wounds in the River North neighborhood.

Officers responded to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for a “walk-in person stabbed” and learned the victim, a 32-year-old male, had been involved in an argument with an unknown male, police said.

The argument escalated and the unknown male pulled a “sharp object” and slashed him,

He was listed in critical condition with multiple puncture wounds, police said.

The attacker was not arrested and Area 3 detectives are investigating.
