A 23-year-old man was fatally shot during an argument early Sunday in Chicago Lawn, Chicago police said. The alleged shooter is in custody.
Two men was arguing about 2:15 a.m. in the 6400 block of South Fairfield Avenue when a 26-year-old pulled out a handgun and shot the 23-year-old in the chest, according to police.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The 26-year-old was arrested at the scene, and charges are pending.
