A man was fatally shot Friday afternoon in North Lawndale, Chicago police said.
The 48-year-old man was discovered in the 1500 block of South Homan Avenue on Friday at around 3:04 p.m. He had multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody, and detectives are investigating.
