A man was shot to death Thursday in East Garfield Park.
Jason Daniels, 26, was on a sidewalk about 5:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Walnut Street when someone in a car pulled up and fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 10 p.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
No arrests have been reported.
