An orange SUV is sought after a fatal hit-and-run late Tuesday on the Southwest Side.
The victim, an unidentified 53-year-old man, was on the street in the 6800 block of South Pulaski Road around 11:10 p.m. when an orange Honda SUV that was traveling northbound on Pulaski Road slammed into him and left the scene, Chicago police said.
The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The vehicle fled north on Pulaski Road and its driver has not been arrested, officials said.
Major Accident Detectives are investigating.
