A man was hospitalized after a shooting in Auburn Gresham Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.
The man, 45, was in a business in the 7900 block of South Damen Avenue at 7:35 p.m. when he was shot in the abdomen and groin, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in critical condition.
A suspect was taken into custody and a handgun was recovered at the scene, but more details weren’t immediately available, police said. Charges are pending and the shooting remains under investigation.
