A man was shot to death early Monday in the Englewood.
Around 2:05 a.m., officers responded in the 5600 block of South Throop Street for calls about a person shot and found a man believed to be 18 to 22 years old with a gunshot wound to his eye, Chicago police said.
Paramedics treated the man, but he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.
No one was in custody; Area 1 detectives are investigating.
