A man was shot to death Sunday afternoon in an unincorporated area near Torrance and Carson.
Deputies responded around 3:20 p.m. Sunday to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of W. Sepulveda Boulevard, just east of Normandie Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
“The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department,” the sheriff’s department reported.
The circumstances the led to the shooting were unclear.
Authorities urged anyone with information to call the sheriff’s department’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
