The shocking murder of schoolboy Daniel Anjorin who was killed in a sword rampage is the 24th fatal stabbing to hit London so far in 2024.
The 14-year-old was walking to school when he was attacked along with four other people on Tuesday morning.
He died in hospital later that morning, becoming the 24th person to die as a result of knife crime in the capital this year alone.
Between 2022-2023, there was a 16% increase in knife crime, with 18 teenagers being stabbed to death.
As the number of victims only seems to be growing, here is a list of those who have lost their lives to knife crime in London.
Tia Simmons, 32, Lewisham – January 4
Ms Simmon’s body was discovered covered in several items of clothing at her Parbury Road property in Forest Hill, southeast London.
Her husband, shane Simmonds, was charged with her murder and two counts of rape against a teenage girl.
Jonah Ho-Shue, 24, Crouch End – January 4
Jonah Ho-Shue was stabbed to death in Crouch End
Mr Ho-Shue was stabbed to death on Albert Road, Crouch End.
He died at the scene due to severe puncture wounds.
So far no one has been arrested, and Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers said he is urging anyone who can help to come forward and speak with police.

Anojan Gnaneswaran, 21, Twickenham – January 8
Mr Gnaneswaran was stabbed to death at Strawberry Hill railway station in Twickenham.
Two male teenagers, aged 19 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Carlton McCloud, 47, Southwark – January 9
Carlton McCloud was found with knife wounds on Old Kent Road
Mr McCloud was found with knife wounds on Old Kent Road in Bermondsey on January 9.
The 47-year-old died at the scene.
Three men have been charged with his murder.
Chaudhary Mahmood, 45, Newham – January 10
Chaudhary Mahmood was found with 27 stab wounds
Mr Mahmood was found with 27 stab wounds in a car park in Stratford.
Vasile Gorghescu, 41, has been charged with his murder and his trial date has been set for October.
Tyreece Scott, 24, Hounslow – January 16
Mr Scott was found with a stab wound to his chest on grove Road, Hounslow.
Ben Laing, 23, and Duarra Abdi, 19, were arrested and charged with his murder one week later.

Leila Young, 33, Bexley – January 16
Ms Young suffered stab wounds to her head and neck on Penhill Road in Bexley.
The mum was rushed to hospital but sadly died on arrival.
Tony Currant, 35, has been charged with attempted murder and Richard Ray, 33, has been charged with assisting an offender.
Tyler Donnelly, 19, Hounslow – January 25
Mr Donnelly was killed in Hanworth Park in Feltham.
His body was discovered by early morning runners after he left the house at 9pm the night before.
Three men have been charged with his murder.
Bledi Petraj, 37, Enfield – February 4
Mr Petraj was killed on St elizabeth’s Drive in Southgate.
He was rushed to hospital where he sadly died.
Kozma Papa, 21, was charged with his murder.
Nathan Bawuah, 17, Hackney – February 17
Nathan Bawuah, 17, was killed on Hackney Road
Nathan Bawuah, 17, was killed on Hackney Road, Hackney.
Tributes left at the scene by his friends described have described him as ‘a good soul’.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with his murder.
Robert Weston, 37, South Harrow – February 26
Mr Weston was killed on Hamilton Crescent in South Harrow.
It is believed the fatal attack began inside the property.
Jaden Sheriff, 19, has been charged with murder.

Unidentified man, 56, Hackney – February 26
A 56-year-old man was found dead inside a property in St Johns Court, Queen’s Drive, Hackney.
A 42-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the murder.
George Eric Rogers, 66, Enfield – March 1
Mr Rogers was found dead in Lockhart Close, Enfield.
He was found with stab wounds in the communal areas of the estate and died at the scene.
Three people have been charged in connection with the murder.
Bajram Luli, 27, Greenford – March 11
Bajram Luli was found with stab wounds inside a vehicle
Mr Luli was found with stab wounds inside a vehicle on Sudbury Heights Avenue, Greenford.
Sabin Manda, 31, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Zhe Wang, 31, Lewisham – March 20
Ms Wang was found with stab wounds inside a house in Manor Park, Hither Gree, Lewisham.
She died at the scene shortly afterwards.
Joshua Michals, an American national, has been charged with her murder.
Richard Braithwaite, 72, Brent – March 21
Richard Brathwaite was found dead after a neighbour allegedly knifed him
Mr Braithwaite was stabbed to death on Cromwell Road.
His wife, Annetta Brown, 71, was also injured in the attack.
His next door neighbour Derek Brown has been charged with murder.
Brown allegedly launched the attack following a long-running dispute over a shared alleyway.
Mark Barrs, 39, West Ealing – April 6
Mr Barrs was found critically injured close to The Old Hat pub in Uxbridge Road, West Ealing.
He died at the scene, and three men have been charged with his murder.
Okechukwu Iweha, 46, Haringey – April 7

Mr Iweha was stabbed to death in Northumberland Park outside Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Police found with a number of stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Leandro Kaienga, of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder.
Kamonnan Thiamphanit, 27, Marble Arch – April 8

Ms Thiamphanit was killed on Stanhope Place, Marble Arch.
She was found dead at a property in London’s plush Bayswater area.
Neighbours claimed they could hear loud screaming hours before police received calls for concern.
Her murderer has not yen been found after it was feared he has fled the UK.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Rijkaard Salu Siafa, 22,Croydon – April 12
Mr Siafa was found fatally injured on Fellmongers Yard in Croydon.
He was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Petro Bebko, 33, Leytonstone – April 18
Mr Bebko was killed on South Birkbeck Road, Leytonstone.
He was found with stab wounds and died at the scene.
Mykola Yakymets, 34, was charged has been charged with murder.
Haseeb Bhatti, 23, Dagenham – April 20
Haseeb Bhatti, 23, was found on Flamstead Road, Dagenham, with fatal stab wounds.
He died at the scene.
Frankie Burletson, 24, was charged with his murder.
Daniel Anjorin, 14, Hainault, Redbridge – April 30
Daniel was killed while walking to school in a sword attack.
Four others were left with significant injuries.
Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo has been charged with murder.
He has also been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article.
