Evacuations have been ordered for the Line fire raging near Highland that more than doubled in size Saturday to 17,459 acres with no containment since it began the evening of Sept. 5.
Several communities are under evacuation orders, including San Bernardino, Highland and Running Springs, with evacuation warnings in place for the mountain communities of Green Valley Lake, Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Valley of Enchantment, Angelus Oaks, Seven Oaks and Mountain Home Village.
