Mark Cuban Responds to Elon Musk, “I’m Against All of These”

Mark Cuban

Billionaire Elon Musk voiced his concerns regarding the upcoming midterm elections. He posted on X less than a week before the midterms: “My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:

“1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.

“2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.

“3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.

Musk added, “This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.”

Fellow billionaire Mark Cuban responded to Musk: “I’m against all of these. The new force in politics and elections is independents. The fact independents are NOT an organized party, means we can individually do what we think is right, without regard to party politics. That is a force we have not seen before. And it is only growing as we all become increasingly disgusted by party politics. Pushing these would backfire on Democrats.”

Conservative lawyer and influencer Will Chamberlain replied to Cuban, who campaigned for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential campaign, “Elon’s point is that it wouldn’t *matter* if independents like you got mad at Democrats once they’d turned the country into a one-party state. Wise up quickly, Mark!”

When asked on X “Would you agree that the Democrat party is FOR all of these things? As such, if you are against all of these things, you should be voting against the Democrat party, correct? Have you ever?”, Cuban replied, “I have never voted for a party. I vote for candidates that I prefer.”
