A reckless driver who crashed a £100,000 supercar while going 91mph on a residential street has been jailed.
Zachary Hocking, 28, was thrown around 25 metres from the car alongside his passenger when the car smashed through a wall and into a house in a Lancashire seaside town.
The crash sent up a fireball so big it set the home alight too, leaving it badly damaged.
Both Hocking and a man in his 20s were seriously injured in the crash on Heyhouses Lane in Lytham St Annes.

Nobody in the property was injured, but photos from the scene show crumbled bricks, and scorch marks on three windows, spanning two storeys.
The car itself is unrecognisable, with nothing left but a heap of blackened debris and a tyre piled in the front garden.
Hocking, 28, of Grand Manor Drive in Lytham, admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was this week at Preston Crown Court jailed for 28 months.

He was also banned from driving for 74 months with an extended test required at the end to get his licence back.
He had been driving at an average speed of 91mph in a 30mph zone befor the crash in December 2023.
Insp Greg Laidlow, of Lancashire Police, said: ‘Hocking drove in an extremely reckless and selfish manner resulting in the collision which left both himself and his passenger badly injured and a house badly damaged by fire.

‘You only need to look at the wreckage of the car to conclude it’s a miracle that no-one was killed.
‘Thanks to the dogged and tenacious work of PC Ben Doughty supported by the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit in what was a very complex and lengthy investigation which has resulted in a substantial prison term and a significant driving ban which means that Hocking will not be allowed behind the wheel for a long period of time.’
