Nancy Mace Claim in Campaign Video Questioned, “There’s No Such Town”

Nancy Mace

MAGA-aligned Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who announced that she’s resigning in January 2026, continues to distance herself from President Donald Trump as people speculate about her next political moves. At the same time her fellow signer of Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie‘s petition to release the Epstein files, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC), is campaigning to become the “Super MAGA governor” of South Carolina.

Mace said at a town hall meeting in August that as Governor she’ll be “a Trump in high heels.” (Note: Mace received Trump’s endorsement for Congress, but has yet to win the President’s endorsement in her gubernatorial run.)

On Tuesday, Mace released a campaign video (below) in which she talks about illegal immigration in South Carolina. Echoing Trump’s claims about cities including Washington, Portland, and Chicago, Mace said: “We have entire neighborhoods in South Carolina that are controlled by Sinaloa cartel, Tren de Agua, MS-13 — there are areas that you can’t go anymore because it’s all Mexican cartels. It’s all them.”

Mace cited Horry County and the public school system in Little Beach where she claims there are “thousands of kids who don’t speak English in the school system.”

She said: “When I’m governor, we’re gonna make sure that we support President Trump in deporting more illegals than ever before. If you’re a business and you hire illegals, we’re gonna hunt you down, we’re gonna find you, and then we’re going to fine you $1000 a day.”

Mace also promises to deputize local law enforcement as needed to assist with deportations. She then looks into the camera and speaks in Spanish, “No habla ingles? No resida en Carolina del Sur, okay?”

One SC resident replied: “As for your stats about Horry County and ‘Little Beach’ I cannot find any…wonder why…maybe bc there is NO SUCH PLACE AS “LITTLE BEACH” in Horry County…you want to be governor of SC, yet you know nothing about the places in the state!”

Note: Mace may be referring to the town of Little River, SC, in Horry County, where according to 2020 census data, 4.32% of the population (a total of 11,711 people) is Hispanic or Latino.
