NFL moves start time of Bears-Packers game at Lambeau Field

The Bears’ Week 14 game in Green Bay will get the late-afternoon treatment.

The NFL announced Thursday that the Dec. 7 game at Lambeau Field was moved from noon to 3:25 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fox. The Bengals-Bills game was moved to noon.

The Bears are in first place in the NFC North and the rival Packers are in second place. The Bears are 7-3 and the Packers 6-3-1.

The Bears beat the Packers on a last-second field goal Cairo Santos field goal in Week 18 last year, the last time they played at Lambeau Field. They are scheduled to play the rival Packers twice in December; the Bears host Dec. 20 at a time that’s yet to be announced.

The Sun-Times’ Bears experts make their pick for Sunday’s game against the Steelers at Soldier Field (noon, CBS 2).
Passing accuracy has been an issue for Williams this season, and he completed only 16 of 32 passes last week against the Vikings. This will be a similarly difficult challenge.
It’s not clear yet if Steelers quarterback Rodgers will be healthy enough to reclaim his ownership of the Bears.
