One injured in high school shooting in Texas

One person has been injured in a Texas high school shooting and a suspect has been caught.

The shooting broke out at Arlington Bowie High School on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 5.30pm, police said that an individual was in custody.

The victim was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition. The victim’s identity and age were not immediately released.

It was not clear if the suspect was a student.

The school was placed on lockdown as reports of the shooting spread.
