Pasadena’s Rent Stabilization Department Saturday, April 25, will be hosting a housing counseling event in District 2.
“Chats & Snacks” will be held at the Santa Catalina Branch Library, 999 E. Washington Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is the second such event hosted by the Rent Stabilization Department.
The event is free and connects residents with housing counselors without the need for appointments or going to the department office. In February, the same event was put on at La Pintoresca Library.
Residents can receive multilingual guidance on understanding rent stabilization laws and protections, rent increase procedures, tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities and mediation and dispute resolution services.
Informational materials, snacks and light refreshments will be provided. According to the city, this event will continue rotating through other city districts every month.
