Chicago police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted two women in South Shore earlier this month.
On June 13, a woman was alone in the 3100 block of East 79th Street around 6 a.m. when a man threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her, police said in a community alert. Two days later around 8 p.m., another woman was in the 7700 block of S. South Shore Drive, around a half-mile away from the first reported assault, when the man assaulted her, police said. She fled after struggling with the man.
Police describe the attacker as a Black man around 30-40 years old and 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall. He has medium complexion and short hair, police said.
