KERN COUNTY, CALIF. — A 4.1 magnitude quake occurred near Frazier Park, about 65.3 miles southeast of Los Angeles, on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor shook the area at 3:38 a.m. The earthquake’s epicenter was about 1 mile east-southeast of Frazier Park and occurred at a depth of 8 miles. Seismologists first reported it as a 4.4 event, but later downgraded it to 4.1.
