Audiences descended on the L.A. Equestrian Center in Burbank on Monday, Dec. 29, for a showcase of the equestrian units that will be featured in the 2026 Rose Parade.
Equestfest, a diverse equestrian show, featured different horse breeds and their talents.
The event featured an equestrian show from 17 equestrian units — including drills, dances and tricks.
The following equestrian units were set to perform in Equestfest and the Rose Parade:
Scipps Miramar Rance- Steam Fire Pumper Unit (San Diego, California)
Spirit of the West Riders (Arcadia, California)
The New Buffalo Soldiers (Shadow Hills, California)
The Norco Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team (Norco, California)
The Valley Hunt Club (Pasadena, California)
United States Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard (Barstow, California)
Victorian Roses Ladies Riding Society (Alpine, California)
Equestrian showcases are deep-seated in the culture of the Rose Parade. In fact, the sponsor of the very first Rose
Parade, in 1890, was the Valley Hunt Club, which continues to carry on its tradition of decorating a carriage each
