The Ukrainian capital has been battered overnight by major Russian missile and drone strikes lasting 10 hours.
Two women, a 68-year-old and a 22-year-old police corporal, were killed during Putin’s latest onslaught against Ukraine.

Residents have been ordered to close their windows and avoid going outside while firefighters try to tackle the fires raging in multiple districts.
Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, warned locals: ‘Property can be restored, but human life cannot.
‘Unfortunately, we have two dead. These people were killed by the Russians. This is a terrible loss. My condolences to the family and friends.
‘Residential buildings, vehicles, warehouse facilities, office and non-residential buildings are on fire.’
