CINCINNATI — The Cubs will be fighting to avoid a four-game sweep Sunday, but that effort will have to wait a little longer than originally scheduled.
The series finale between the Cubs and Reds is set to begin in a rain delay. The rain had yet to begin when the 12:40 p.m. CT original start time passed, but it loomed in the forecast.
The new first pitch is scheduled for 1:50 p.m. CT, the teams announced.
