Officials are putting in place emergency protocol for 10,000 Israelis on the island who they believe could be under threat.

Authorities have been tracking possible plans to attack Israelis staying on Ko Pha Ngan since July 2023, it is understood.

A red alert for a potential terror attack at the famed Full Moon Party scheduled for Friday has now been issued.

The all-night beach party event draws huge crowds, and is popular with both British backpackers and young Israelis.

Thai police have ramped up their presence on the island and put up roadblocks, Ynet news reports.

The National Security Council has issued a travel warning for the whole of Thailand.

It has urged Israelis to report any suspicious activity, avoid Israeli markings and stay away from crowded gatherings.

The warning comes after anti-Semitic violence rocked parts of Europe.

In Berlin, members of a Jewish football team were chased by a knife-wielding pro-Palestinian mob last week.

Teens from Makkabi Berlin’s youth team claim they were “hunted down” by a group of Arab youngsters after a game against local rivals.

The match was held in Neukölln, a suburb known for its significant Arab and Turkish communities.

One player’s dad claimed that his son was “deeply shaken” when he came back home from the game.

The teenagers, aged 13 to 16, reported being “hunted down” by the group who reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” and anti-Semitic slurs, including “f*****g Jews.”

Meanwhile in Amsterdam, Israeli football fans were chased through the streets of Amsterdam by an anti-Semitic mob.

Maccabi supporters were ambushed by masked rioters in the Dutch city as they left the Johan Cruyff stadium.

Shocking footage shared on social media showed Israeli football fans being harassed, kicked and beaten last Thursday night.

Disturbing videos showed Israelis desperately fleeing crowds after Ajax beat Maccabi 5-0 in the Europa League match.

Victims and officials described the shameful scenes as “a pogrom” – a violent riot aimed at one ethnic group.

There is no suggestion the incidents in Berlin or Amsterdam were terror related.
