There are luxury cruises, and then there’s the wildly ambitious 150-night global itinerary being plotted by Regent Seven Seas, setting sail in 2029 and traversing more than 37,000 nautical miles.
The recently announced Regent Seven Seas 2029 World Tour, dubbed “Eras of Exploration,” is virtually unlike any itinerary ever plotted by a luxury cruise company, with the exception perhaps of a 140-night 2027 World Cruise being offered by the cruise company. That particular Miami-to-New York itinerary charts a course on the explorer-level Regent Seven Seas Splendor. The jaw-dropping Miami-to-Rome 2029 itinerary, on the other hand, pushes off on the Seven Seas Mariner and sails the likes of the Amazon and Polynesian trading routes as it “follows the great arcs of human discovery, from ancient empires to modern wonders.”
A stunning 31 countries and 70 ports of call make up the Regent Seven Seas 2029 World Tour, which also traverses the Indian Ocean through Arabia and the Nile, with 13 overnight stays included among a jaw-dropping 326 shore excursions. A pre-cruise gala and a luxury hotel stay kick off the festivities in Miami, while door-to-door luggage service and included valet services offer up a seamless experience. The list of onshore excursions is one-of-a-kind, from visiting Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro to traversing rice paddies in Bali or scuba diving in French Polynesia.

350 suites and eight decks make up the lavish Seven Seas Mariner, with upper-deck views and a variety of balcony and Grand suites available. An intimate card room complements an onboard casino and entertainment options like a cabaret show or karaoke, while afternoon tea and guest lectures offer daytime entertainment. Boutiques featuring duty-free designer jewelry complement amenities like wine tasting opportunities, further bolstering the idea that luxury is seemingly around every corner on this ambitious 150-night trek.

After departure from Miami and a trio of days at sea, a stop in Barbados awaits before a cruise through the Amazon, with further immediate stops passing through Rio and Peru before hitting Chile via the South Pacific. The sights and sounds of Sydney and Mumbai follow later in the itinerary, with a voyage across the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea to follow (among other enviable, once-in-a-lifetime destinations via a singular cruise).
For now, pricing information is available upon request as the Regent Seven Seas 2029 World Tour prepares to embark on its utterly epic journey.
